We would like to thank Simon, Tyrone and the other team members at C&A Johnson for doing such a great job of our new loft conversion. We wanted to find the right company for the job since we were anxious not to damage the fabric or character of our old (~1890) Victorian house. We chose C&A Johnson because at the outset, they gave very careful consideration to what we wanted and gave us much helpful feedback, guidance and advice. Simon, who visited us initially, was closely involved with the project through to completion and was often on site. The 3 month project went without any hitches. The workmen were polite and friendly as well as being very competent and well managed. The children enjoyed meeting them in the morning and we enjoyed seeing how work was progressing from day to day. Simon was always on hand to help cost and arrange minor changes to the initial plan (inevitably there were a few). Our special thanks to Gary and Paul - the team leaders whom we met on a daily basis. Dear C and A Johnson, We are extremely pleased with our loft conversion, After considering a number of firms, we chose C and A Johnson because in our initial meetings they highlighted many issues which would affect the quality and integration of the loft conversion into our home. Compared to other companies we felt confident that a quality job would be done. Throughout the conversion the communication we had with the working team was very high. Dear Alan, Simon and Tyrone, We are writing to tell you how happy we are with the refurbishment of our new house which was carried out with speed and efficiency. We were impressed with how Alan got the plans together for the loft conversion with ease and provided a continual dialogue with what had been proposed. The structural work led by Tyrone was carried out during a severe winter yet the team worked on regardless of the cold and ice, working at weekends as well. Simon and Paul and there team then took over the plastering, joinery and fitting work downstairs and we were happy that we had input into the process, and the sourcing of products. The team were always helpful and flexible in approach and the work was done to very high standard. Simon even helped us out with some tricky negotiations and aftercare with window suppliers who supplied good windows but not a good fitting service or customer service. We were also grateful for the recommendation of a friendly and speedy decorator in Matt as an added bonus. Building work can be stressful but you put us at ease, making the whole project go smoothly and professionally. Hello Alan, Hannah and I were delighted with the work your guys did. Probably the best plaster work I have ever seen! All the guys were polite and tidy and always helpful when we needed an answer.
