Loft conversion Bristol
A loft conversion incorporating large master bedroom with en-suite shower room facility with an additional study room was carried out on this large Victorian semi detached property in St Andrews Bristol.
The loft conversion design incorporated a single glazed dormer to the side elevation providing access for the new stair flight. The new stairs were manufactured with matching newel posts and spindles with solid pine treads and risers to maintain the features of the original stair flight providing a seamless transition from the existing first floor landing to the new accommodation.
What the customer said...
We would like to thank Simon, Tyrone and the other team members of C & A Johnson for doing such a great job of our new loft conversion. We wanted to find the right company for the Job since we were anxious not to damage the fabric or character of our old (~1890) Victorian house.
We chose C&A Johnson because at the outset, they gave very careful consideration to what we wanted and gave us much helpful feedback, guidance and advice. Simon, who visited us initially, was closely involved with the project through to completion and was often on site.
The 3 month project went without any hitches. The workmen were polite and friendly as well as being very competent and well managed. The children enjoyed meeting them in the morning and we enjoyed seeing how the work was progressing from day to day.
Simon was always on hand to help cost and arrange minor changes to the initial plan (inevitably there were a few.)
Our special thanks to Gary and Paul – the team leaders whom we met on a daily basis. The project finished on time and on budget just as promised. We are delighted with our new loft and would have no hesitation recommending C&A Johnson to others.
